Arty Farty

As I'm still waiting on a new lead for my sewing machine 'neeksie' took a standstill today, so I thought i'd do some research for a new painting.

This is my last piece. Fortunately for me, It sold before I decided on a name for it.

I am having trouble with my newest canvas, It's a funny shape and size so getting an image to fit is proving difficult.

Back to the drawing board and a little bit of inspiration from Gil Elvgren!

getting inky!

Having no internet to distract me at home, I've been the busiest little bee over the past few days-
cutting patterns out of amazing vintage cut offs and playing with my
New toy ( my overlocker )
Today however, I was majorly dissapointed to see my new power lead for my
Sewing machine still hasn't arrived so I decided to play with ink!
I got a stamp made with my logo then printed onto bias binding to make handmade little
Labels so everyone knows who made there knickers.
Half and hour later I'm now covered in ink.

The labels look cute at least!

So after collecting a few bits and bobs and some christmas money to buy myself a new machine, I can finally start 'Neeksie'. 

My line of hand made undies!
